Mission Statement
Salem is dedicated to providing a learning environment
that challenges each child to reach his or her full potential through
an excellent academic program in a nurturing, child-centered
atmosphere. The family-school partnership, with the support of
the community, will inspire our children to achieve excellence in all
aspects of their educational experience and to become productive,
responsible members of our community, our country and our world.

Salem Board of Education
Meetings:
The Salem Board of Education normally meets on the
first Monday of each month at 7:30 P.M. and sub committee meetings are
held on the third Monday of each month at 4:30 P.M. Meetings are
held in the Salem School Media Center, and are open to the public.
Agendas are posted
at the Town Hall. The Board is the governing body of Salem School. It
is responsible for making policy, developing a sound budget, operation
and maintenance of the school and grounds, appointment of staff and
fiscal operations of the school.
