June is Dog License Month

JUNE IS DOG LICENSE MONTH!

As a resident of Connecticut, it is the law to license your dog in the Town Clerk’s office of the Town in which you reside when the dog has reached the age of 6 months.  To avoid delays and penalties and/or fines, please visit the Town Clerk’s office before June 30th of the current year.  A current rabies certificate and spay/neuter certificate, if applicable, is required if we do not already have it on file.  Payments received after June 30th will incur an additional $1 per month late fee for unlicensed dogs over the age of 6 months.

Reminder:  If you are new to town or have a new dog, you are required to register the dog within 30 days of getting your dog even if it is not during the month of June.

Fees:
Male or Female: $19.00
Spayed or Neutered: $8.00
10-tag Kennel: $51.00

State of CT late penalty: $1.00 per month
