Notary Public

Notary Public services are provided in limited capacity at the Tax Collector's and Town Clerk’s offices.

When notarizing a document, the signer is required to show photo identification.  A passport or driver’s license are acceptable forms of identification.  A Social Security card is not.  If a Notary is uncomfortable with the document, (s)he is not required to notarize it.  We do not notarize blank documents at Town Hall.  Wills should be executed under the guidance of an attorney.  There is no fee for notary services for Town residents during office hours.
