Budget Referendum

The Annual Budget Referendum will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2026, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. for a "YES" or "NO" vote on the total budget, by paper ballot, at the Salem Town Office Building, 270 Hartford Road. 

The proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2026/2027 is as follows:

                                                           General Government                  $    5,353,554.00
                                                           Board of Education                     $  12,369,000.00
                                                           Capital Expenditures                  $       981,991.00
