Revaluation Update 6/21/2022

REVAL UPDATE: 06/21/2021  

The Town of Salem is in the process of conducting a Revaluation for the 2021 Grand List. In accordance with  Connecticut State Statute 12-62, a revaluation is required every five years. The objective is to eliminate any  assessment inequities that may have developed since the previous revaluation by reconciling property assessments  to their fair market value as of October 1, 2021.  

This purpose of this letter is to identify Stephan Bourque as a representative of Vision Government Solutions,  Inc. (VGSI), who has been contracted by the Town of Salem to complete the revaluation.  

Mr. Bourque is driving a blue 2012 Ford Fusion, Rhode Island registration 907 960.  

The scope of this portion of the project includes a visual exterior inspection of all recently sold properties. The  goal is to review and verify pertinent data regarding the properties. This information will help to analyze  neighborhood factors to ensure uniformity and compliance with CT State Statute 12-62.
