Route 82 Bridge Replacement-Road Closure Postponement

TRAFFIC IMPACTS

Be advised, as of this morning, it was decided that Rt. 82 closure for replacement of the bridges, will not take effect until July 19th of this year.

The expected closure duration is still 65 days, with a target to reopen the road to traffic on Sept. 21st.

A full road closure and detour will be necessary for a maximum duration of 65 consecutive days, beginning or about June 19, 2021, to August 22, 2021. The closure will facilitate the demolition of the existing structures and construction of the new bridges. Detour routes will be clearly marked and additional notification will be provided prior to the closure.
