WARNING OF ELECTION
November 7, 2023

The Electors of the Town of Salem are hereby warned to meet at their respective polling places in said Town on November 7, 2023, for the following purposes:

To cast their votes for First Selectman, Selectmen, Town Clerk, Town Treasurer, Tax Collector, Board of Finance full term, Board of Finance Alternate full term, Board of Finance Alternate to fill vacancy for four years, Board of Education full term, Board of Education to fill vacancy for four years, Board of Education to fill vacancy for two years, Board of Assessment Appeals, Board of Assessment Appeals to fill vacancy for two years, Planning and Zoning Commission full term, Planning and Zoning Commission to fill vacancy for two years, Planning and Zoning Commission Alternate full term, Planning and Zoning Commission Alternate to fill vacancy for two years, Zoning Board of Appeals full term, Zoning Board of Appeals Alternate full term, Library Trustees full term, and Library Trustees to fill vacancy for two years.

Notice is hereby given that the location of the polling place for both District 1 and District 2 is as follows:  Salem Town Office Building, 270 Hartford Road, Salem, CT 06420. Election Day Registration will also be conducted at the Salem Town Office Building, 270 Hartford Road, Salem, CT 06420. Opti-Scan voting machines will be used. Voters must present identification.  The polls will open at 6:00 AM and will close at 8:00 PM.

Absentee Ballots will be counted at the same location.
