Notice of Decision

At their regular meeting of November 24, 2020 the Salem Planning & Zoning Commission rendered the following decisions:

ZRA 20-02 – 45 Forest Drive, LLC, 45 Forest Drive, Salem, CT. Application to amend the Salem Zoning Regulations by adding a definition for Private Event Facility in Section 2 and adding a new Section 31 to create a floating zone entitled “Special Events and Limited Accommodation Zone.” Denied.

SE 20-02 – RMD Land Development, LLC, 627 Norwich Salem Turnpike, Unit 5, Oakdale, CT. Application for a Special Exception to construct a 48 unit Age Restricted Development at 470 Norwich Road, Salem (zoned Rural A) in accordance with Section 26 of the Zoning Regulations. Special Exception and Site Plan approved with conditions.
